Ravi Dubey calls Ramayana co-star Ranbir Kapoor his elder brother, says, “He is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met”

Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana is one of the most anticipated films. While the actor confirmed completing the shoot for Part 1, he will soon start shooting for 2^nd part. The film features an ensemble cast. One of the prominent members of cast includes Ravi Dubey who essays the role of Lakshman, Lord Ram (played by Ranbir Kapoor) younger brother. In a recent interview, Ravi admires Ranbir’s kindness.

In an interview with Pinkvilla, Ravi was asked about the project and his co-star. To which, he said, “Ranbir is incredibly kind, one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. He is very warm and welcoming. We were just discussing humility earlier. When someone attains massive success, especially sudden success, they become widely admired and loved. With that comes immense credibility for their performances, along with the freedom to carry themselves in a certain way—something many actors embrace.“

He added, “But Ranbir Bhai is different. His humility, kindness towards everyone, quiet nature, dedication to his craft, and meticulous preparation behind the scenes are truly incredible. For me, he is like an elder brother, and I deeply respect and admire him as one.”

About Ramayana

Talking about the Ramayana franchise, the first part of the film will introduce Lord Rama, his family at Ayodhya, his marriage with Sita and their 14-year vanvas. The first part is expected to end with the kidnapping of Sita by Ravana. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film features an ensemble cast including Sai Pallavi as Sita, KGF star Yash as Raavan and Sunny Deol as Hanuman. The film also has Sheeba Chaddha, Lara Dutta, Kubbra Sait reportedly in pivotal roles.
